Come to think of it, how great is He, have you ever by any chance question your existance? It is by God’s will and not your wish to be alive today, so whenever you rise up from your sleep, the little you can do to God is appreciate Him fo the compassion He has, that you are alive that day.
In our day to day life let us not miss blessings and let us avoid hypocrisy. This remimds me of a story. There once was a lady by tha name Martha, she herself claimed to love the Lord, i cannot deny that as she served the Lord purely, that is what you and i would see. In church she would pay hee tighes, offerings as it is stated in tha Bible as a command. Nevertheless she was among the choir ministry, actually as their leader.
In her life she had always, ever since she stood up and out to serve the Lord, wanted to see tha Lord Himself. That got me thinking, if Moses himself at some point in his questioning faith had also requested to see God Himself(The Exodus), in the end of the run, he finally so Him, stated in the Bible, hs saw His back, and whoever sees the Lord shall die. Back to Martha, will she survive too?
And so Martha prayed to the Lord, she prayed and fasted. The Lord then spoke to Martha and said He will show Himself, the following day. The next day happened to be a Sunday afternoon just after Martha was through with her Sunday service. She was home preparing lunch. Then she had a knock at the door. She opened her door ro find a young studdy man at the door who was smiling, it was her friend, without hesitating Martha let him in.
No sooner had the visitor felt comfortable than another knock was heard. Martha went for the door again. Opening it stood a man in tattered clothes, let alone his clothes he looked malnourished. He asked fo shelter and some food and that the next day he would be up and moving. Martha looked at the man in disgust. Her friend told Martha to chase away thay person as they were con-men and terrible liers. Martha without contemplating did that..
Later in the night before she slept, Martha called unto God in her prayrt and asked Him why He never came. The Lord God responded to her and said, ‘I was the one in the tattered clothes.’ If you were Martha what would you do?
That teaches us to preach what we speak, do not only be a christian but a true christian by action of the words you speak. Martha believed she was a true Christian, but her actions betrayed her. Also we should be vigilant of your friends. Choose them wisely. Pray and fast if necessary to avoid missing opportunities of blessings in your life, don’t be like Martha. So to speak, in the Bible, The New Testament, Peter says ‘Prayer without action is dead.’
Imagine how Mysterious God is..Believe me, God Has been there, He is here, and forever He will be. God bless you.
